No, I’m no talking about that subscription to the jelly-of-the-month club.
I’m talking about HEALTH, mofo.
Now, please forgive me for the lack of posts over the past few weeks. I’ve been doing the work and I’ve been thinking about you. I swear. All the important numbers are still heading in the right direction. Body weight is down. Strength is up. I’ve been hitting my lovely, sweaty Saturday spin class regularly. In fact, this past Saturday I worked it! I dug down in a way I hadn’t yet. I could still being hitting the gym more often during the week – I’m going about 1-2 nights per week. When I do, I do my shoulder PT exercises, and while there is still work to do, I’m making great progress! Now I’m up to 15/20lbs for each exercise where two months ago I was using the resistance bands alone. This is a big deal.
I started this journey 11 months ago today. I want to see if I can lose about 10 more pounds before January 15. The new year would be even better, but let’s face it – just maintaining or losing a little at this time of year is a big effing deal, so I’m cool with that.
